Norfolk Brewhouse

Meet and greet

One of the great things about brewing is the people that you meet along the way.

We are very fortunate to have worked with and met some really great people and companies on our brewing journey.

We have pulled together a collection of links to some websites, blogs and other techie things which will let you explore brewing a little bit more.

Our chosen charity - It's On the Ball

It's a great pleasure that as  a brewery we get to support lots of great community causes. This year we are working hard to raise awareness of a Norfolk charity - Its On The Ball. The small, dedicated team work tireslessy to help promote awareness of the impact of testicular cancer on young men. We are producing special beers for the charity as well as helping out with events across the year. Please take time to find out a bit more about them:

Beer and Brewing Associations

CAMRA – probably one of the most successful consumer bodies ever. Tirelessly campaigning to keep British ale alive and to secure the future of our national drink and the pubs which serve it! They also publish some great books and hold some very good beer festivals. It really is worth taking a look:

SIBA – a national association of independent brewers. Exploring their website is like reading the who’s who of British brewing. The website is very informative and will help you find lots of suppliers to the brewing industry:

Read about beer

There are some great websites which allow you to read all about beer. A good one to start you off with is the site run by award-winning beer writer Jeff Evans:

Some great ingredients

Want to know more about the stuff which we put into our beer? Then read about the ingredients which we source from some industry-leading suppliers.

Hops: Charles Faram and Company have been established as merchants of hops and hop products for over 100 years. I get the impression if there is something they don’t know about hops it isn’t worth knowing!

Malt.  Established in the 1870s, Crisp Malting is the leading privately owned maltster in the UK - it’s also pretty handy that it is just a few miles from the brewery!
