Norfolk Brewhouse Terms and conditions

Thank you for choosing to purchase products from Norfolk Brewhouse – we hope you enjoy them and value your feedback at all times.

If you want to buy beer and other products from us via our website you can only do so on these terms and conditions, and by registering on the website you are agreeing to be bound by them.

Our terms are designed to be fair to both parties.  We may change things from time to time so please check for updates on the website when you are placing an order. 

1. Customer age

It’s a criminal offence for anyone under the age of 18 to buy alcohol and for anyone to buy alcohol on behalf of someone under 18 – you could receive an £80 fine, or end up in court and be fined up to £5,000. PLEASE, DO NOT DO IT!

a. Purchases are strictly for over 18's only. By placing an order you are confirming that you are over the age of 18 years.

b. Norfolk Brewhouse operates a Challenge 21 Policy and if in any doubt, Norfolk Brewhouse will ask for proof of age. The ONLY accepted proof of age is photographic ID – a passport or driving licence. If proof of age is asked for and not shown, the order and delivery will not be completed.

c. Under no circumstances can deliveries be left unattended or unsigned for.

2. Pricing and payment

a. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT current at the time.

b. Delivery costs are shown extra dependent on order unless shown as part of an inclusive offer price.

c. We accept payment by PayPal, Visa, MasterCard.

d. Orders placed by cheque will be processed once the cheque has cleared. Cheque payment can only be made by post, with written orders to: The Norfolk Brewhouse, Moon Gazer Barn, Harvest Lane, Hindringham, Fakenham, NR21 0PW. Cheques should be made payable to David Holliday Limited.

 3. Order confirmation

a. You will be sent an email to the email address you have given us, to confirm that payment has been received, and to confirm the products you have ordered.

 4. Order status

a. You can check your order status at anytime by logging in to your Norfolk Brewhouse account.

5. Delivery and order processing

a. For orders purchased through the online shop, delivery is to mainland UK only.

b. Orders received by 5pm will be processed and despatched that day. Orders received after 5pm will be processed on the next working day.

c. We will make every effort to deliver your beer by courier within 2 working days but cannot always guarantee a delivery time. Deliveries within Norfolk are likely to be made by our own driver and so it may be possible to accommodate a specific am or pm slot.

 d. Deliveries must be signed for. Under no circumstances can deliveries be left unattended or unsigned for.

e. If you are not there the driver will leave a card for you to arrange a more convenient delivery time.

f. Once the order has been delivered, according to your original delivery instructions, it becomes the recipient's responsibility.

6. Cancellation

a. If you wish to cancel your order please contact immediately on 01328 878495 or  customerservices@norfolkbrewhouse.co.uk.  Please quote your name, address and order number.

b. Cancellations can only be made before the products have been processed and despatched from the brewery.

c. We shall reimburse the price of your order within 30 days from the date you notify us of the cancellation.

 7. Returns and Refund policy

a. All goods should be inspected by you on delivery.

b. If some or all of the bottles or goods are broken or spoiled when they are delivered you should notify us immediately on 01328 878495 or customerservcies@norfolkbrewhouse.co.uk.  We will arrange to recollect the damaged items.

c. You may choose either to return the whole case or just the affected bottles or goods for a refund. Any damaged or spoiled bottles or goods collected by our courier must be in their original box to avoid further damage, where possible.

d. Should you not be entirely satisfied with your order, then please contact us on 01328 878495

e. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods. Further information about your rights is available from your Local Authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen's Advice Bureau.

8. Privacy Policy

a. We will use your details for the purpose of fulfilling your order only, and will not store any details once the order has been completed unless you ask us to do so.

b. Our Privacy Promise. We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party without your permission, other than where we have to with our courier to get your order to you.

c. By registering as a customer and creating an account you are asking us to store your details. By providing your details you consent to Norfolk Brewhouse maintaining, recording, holding and using the information you give Norfolk Brewhouse at the time of ordering to process your orders, to improve our service to you and inform you of promotions. All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

d. Norfolk Brewhouse uses PayPal as its payment processor, and does not hold any personal payment information, including bank or card details.

e. By signing up to our e-mail subscription you permit us to hold personal information. This information will be limited to name, email address and phone number. Your details will be stored in a secure environment, and will not be shared with any third party. Should you wish to be removed from our database at anytime, please email info@noroflkbrewhouse.co.uk and ask to be removed.

9. Security

a. If you are nervous about shopping on the web, don't be. We use PayPal secure servers with state-of-the-art encryption for the transfer of credit card information.

b. It is your responsibility to protect your password from being disclosed to any third party.

10. General

a. We shall not be liable for any delay in delivering your order if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control such as, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or Act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the performance of this Agreement.

b. The Norfolk Brewhouse may change or add to these terms and conditions for security, legal or regulatory reasons. We will not use this right to vary the terms of any special offer that applies to you.
